Brennan Park

Brennan Park is a large, shady venue with something to keep everyone entertained. It has amazing water views and accessible amenities all on hand. There is a playground adjacent to restaurants and takeaway stores, complete with a looped flying fox and colourful play equipment.

Stretching from the corner of S Esplanade and Toorbul Street in the south up to First Avenue, the park is anchored by the popular recreation and dining precinct of Bongaree Jetty.

Pathways wind seamlessly through the garden beds and along the foreshore, so those using wheelchairs, walkers and other mobility devices can experience the sea air and laidback island lifestyle.

Why not bring a picnic blanket and set up under one of the trees or cook up some sausages at one of the BBQs? If you’re not up for the do-it-yourself option, Bongaree beachside has plenty of food and drink venues all within walking distance.

Once you’ve enjoyed your lunch, head over to the Bribie Island Seaside Museum to explore the fascinating history of the area in a contemporary and welcoming setting. The wheelchair-friendly venue is air-conditioned for comfort and offers free entry for guests and Carers.
