Edwin Schrag Park

Located at the southern end of the Woorim foreshore on a leafy seaside strip, it’s no surprise that Edwin Schrag Park is a popular spot for weddings and events.

Connected to Lions Park and the Surf Club in the north via the Woorim Beach Accessible Pathway, Edwin Schrag Park has ample road parking, sheltered seating, and amazing water views.

Stay awhile and enjoy a packed lunch at the BBQ facilities. There’s also plenty of space to stretch your legs or roll out a picnic blanket.

Dog-friendly park and nearby off-leash beach

Service and support dogs are welcome here, with plenty of shade, grass, and a tap with dog bowl. Speaking of furry friends – there is an off-leash dog beach just a few minutes’ drive south at Red Beach.

Bay views and beach access

If it’s an island sunrise you are after, the Edwin Schrag Lookout is also just a short stroll away along the wheelchair and walker-friendly Woorim Beach Accessible Pathway. This also connects to Bluey Piva Park and Beach Access Point 12 in the north, where you can hire a beach wheelchair and utilise the accessible beach matting.

While this park offers plenty of shaded seating options, remember to pack your sunscreen, hat, and water bottle for when travelling along the pathways.
