Endeavour Park, Newport

Located along the picturesque Endeavour Esplanade at Newport, this park offers long stretches of grassy lawns, picnic shelters, and accessible amenities.

Park in the designated spots along the esplanade and follow the concrete path to the undercover BBQ area for lunch with friends or family.

There are tables and chairs, accessible toilets, and gym equipment, all with amazing views out across the sparkling waters of Moreton Bay.

Companion animals and support dogs are made to feel welcome at Endeavour Park with a tap and dog bowl.

Marine life and bird watching

Dolphins, dugongs, and whales (migrating between June to October) are known to frequent the waters of Moreton Bay and the marine park. Keep an eye out for these incredible animals, as well as local birdlife. Visibility across the water is uninterrupted from both a seated and standing position, with plenty of room for wheelchairs and walkers to navigate and turn around.

Explore at your own pace, and enjoy the sights and sounds by the water. This is a tranquil park with lots of green space and room to lay out a blanket in the sunshine or relax in the shade.
