Accessability

  • An accessible public toilet is located at Clontarf Visit Information Centre. There will also be accessible portaloos available onsite.
  • Mobility aids including manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs and power assist devices are permitted in all events except the Half Marathon and the 10km Wheelchair Race. Hand cycles are not permitted. Registrants using mobility aids, including manual wheelchairs, must start at the very back of the running field. However, experienced participants can choose to start with an earlier wave, based on their expected finish time. You can refer to the race information for each event for details on waves and start times, as well as age limits. For the 10km Wheelchair Race, entrants are only permitted to use a recognised racing wheelchair as per above.
  • The GKS Law Wheelchair 10km race will run in conjunction with the GKS Law 10km run/walk and start with a wave of elite wheelchair athletes. Wheelchair athletes in this category must be 12 years or older and will need to compete using a recognised racing wheelchair only, as this event is conducted under Athletics Australia, World Para Athletics and World Athletics rules. No mechanical gears are permitted on the chair. Hand cycles are not permitted.
Click here for the race information for each event, including details on waves and start times.
  • Entrants using a wheelchair can compete in the 3km, 5km or 10km events. However, to be eligible for prize money, entrants using a wheelchair must enter the GKS Law 10km Wheelchair event. Please note: J2J recommends that entrants with mobility aids do not enter the 21km course because of the steepness of the course in parts. Previous entrants using mobility aids have indicated that the course is not able to be completed without assistance of a carer/supporter.
