Redcliffe KiteFest

It’s the annual event that draws over 30,000 attendees across one weekend and it’s back in 2021! Redcliffe KiteFest is without a doubt the most popular family-friendly event on the Redcliffe Peninsula.

Event details:

When: Saturday 11th – Sunday 12th June

Time: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Where: Pelican Park, Clontarf

Ticket Cost Online:

$5 per Child + Booking fee

$10 per Adult + Booking fee

$25 per Family (2 x Adults + 2 x Children OR 1 X Adult + 3 x Children) + Booking fee

$5 per Concession (does not include Health Care Card) + Booking fee

Children 2 and under can get in to KiteFest for free! They must however have still ‘purchase’ a ticket via our online ticketing platform Eventbrite for contact tracing purposes.

Accessability

  • There are actually three accessible toilets spread throughout the festival grounds.
  • Wheelchair and pedestrian ramps have previously been installed throughout the event site in areas with limited access; if an activity or area is not fully accessible, these details will be communicated in advance via the Festival website.
  • Interpreting services will be provided during some stage entertainment. Interpreted entertainment will be listed in the program.
  • Shuttle bus services are wheelchair friendly
  • The Pelican Park Visitor Information Centre car park will be reserved for people with valid accessible parking permits. Local community group traffic personnel will manage this car park providing access to patrons showing a valid permit. An accessible drop off zone is available at the main entry gate.
