Thurecht Park is a real hidden gem in Scarborough, and a great destination for boat enthusiasts.
This long park is a green oasis tucked in behind the Moreton Bay Boat Club. It has plenty of open grassed areas, birdlife, and shaded picnic spots.
There are toilet blocks with accessible facilities, clear pathways, a chip bark playground, accessible parking, fitness equipment, tables and chairs, and BBQs.
Sealed pathways wind seamlessly through the trees and gardens, allowing visitors to explore at their own pace in a relaxing environment.
Green oasis with all the comforts
Thurecht Park has two separate toilet blocks with accessible facilities, located at either end of the grassy stretch. This layout makes it easy for visitors to access amenities, and navigate through the park.
