Woody Point Jetty

Woody Point is known for its community atmosphere, cafés, green spaces, and ocean views. The Jetty offers a stable and spacious surface for wheelchairs, stretching out across the calm waters of Moreton Bay.

It is the perfect destination to see a sunrise, catch up with friends, or enjoy some fresh air at your own pace.

You will also find unisex accessible toilets with Braille signage, water fountains, tap with a dog bowl, shaded seating areas, BBQs, and plenty of parking.

Recreation and wildlife

Woody Point Jetty is a popular spot for fishing and recreational activities. You may see people casting nets or dropping a line from the Jetty. With sweeping views across the bay and over to Shorncliffe Pier, it's also the ideal spot to look for sea life and birds.

There’s no shortage of water sports here. Can you spot a windsurfer or jet ski? The Humpybong Yacht Club is also located at the nearby Crockatt Park.

Stay awhile: eat and play

Extend your sightseeing at Woody Point Jetty by visiting one of the local cafés, or continuing around to Crockatt Park, which has a playground and BBQ facilities for a picnic lunch.

Please take note of the Moreton Bay Region Calendar of Events when planning your trip, as it may affect carpark availability, pedestrian traffic, and increase noise levels for those sensitive to sound and/or crowds.
